I have a confession to make: I didn't watch this movie before I watched Avengers: Endgame. There, you have it. I was so confused when Scott made the appearance he did in Endgame, to be honest.
Anyways, I finally watched it, and I LOVED IT.
This movie is very, very good in a lot of ways. It shows what happened after Civil War with Scott and the whole crew. Luis was there to catch you up on anything you needed, trust me. The movie was very good in the way that I literally could not predict anything (this tends to happen with me and Marvel movies, apparently). I was hooked from the beginning and was in awe at the very end. I was amazed by how that all of Pym's research comes together with a nice bow on it, but that it also was simultaneously happening with Infinity War, as well. The attention to detail was fantastic.
Honestly, it was a really great movie, and I loved it. BUT, there isn't a whole lot I really feel like I want to say about it. I now know that it was setting up a lot of things for Endgame along with continuing the story of Scott, Hope, and the ex-cons, but I felt like there could have been something else to it. Truthfully, I just feel a little guilty for not absolutely being obsessed with the movie. It was great, and I enjoyed it.
How do you feel about this movie? Is it in your top five Marvel films? Do you feel like it lacked anything? Leave those thoughts in the comments below!
