During the time of the broke foot during January of 2018, I began binge watching this show. In fact, I watched the first TWO seasons in as many days. I literally sat and binge watched due to not being able to walk. I was instantly sucked into the world of Kara Danvers and didn't want a way out.
Fast-forward to me watching Season Four this summer. Y'all. Listen. The character development of every. single. character. has made me insanely happy in some form or another. I also love how it focuses on Kara and Lena's friendship, as well, this season. Season Four had a lot of twists and turns and shockers that I was speechless and simultaneously yelling at my TV over what I was seeing. I was in awe from it all. I loved how that it worked into the annual crossover event and how that will tie in to the story line of the next season, as well.
Season Four also brought along a lot of heartbreak in that Kara is getting over Mon-El and Alex is trying to deal with adoption and being rejected. The Danvers sisters have had a lot to deal with this season, but not without the help of their trusted sidekicks and some new ones they found along the way. It also had a very political undertone this season, but even if you agree or disagree, this season is very enjoyable for everyone.
I also want to add that I was loving them bringing in more Clark Kent this season with Tyler Hoechlin reprising the role. I would love for him to become a more reoccurring character (but not a main character) in future seasons. He is very good at being able to guide Kara and help her through some very difficult times.
In the next season, I am definitely looking forward to what happens with Kara and Lena with their friendship after the big revelation at the end. I was not a fan of what Lex did, but I also do feel like Kara should've been the one to give Lena the news. I'm eager to see what that dynamic is and what happens throughout the season. The same goes with Brainy and Nia -- how does their relationship grow? What is in store? I have so many questions and need so many answers. I just know that I will be wearing my CW App out on my Roku to make sure I'm watching with the rest of the world.
