I have to start with saying: Supernatural is one of my top five favorite shows of all time. This show is one that I've grown up with and look forward to the next season. I've progressively over the last about year, year and a half binge-watched and caught completely up on the show. I've recently watched season fourteen and was an emotional mess the entire time.

Why do I and everyone else seem to enjoy this show so much? Honestly, it's the consistency. I like shows that I know are going to be entertaining regardless of what is happening. I also happen to like shows with, well, a supernatural type flair to them. This show is about so much more than fighting monsters or the bad guys. It's about more than angels and demons. To me, Supernatural is about family and friends becoming family. It's about fighting your inner demons and growing into yourself. I've really enjoyed this show because of how that it has grown with me. I'm twenty-four years old, and it's been on the air since I was ten. I've seen so many reruns and watched the first few seasons so many times. Each time I watch them, I get something else out of it. I grasp another aspect of the story.

The actors, though, are totally what make the show. Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are the two main actors in the whole series. They play Sam and Dean, the two main characters. They have grown with these characters and have allowed these characters to change and evolve over these fourteen years. They've provided opportunities for growth within themselves, as well. Many characters have come and gone that have allowed for you to cry and rejoice at so many points throughout. I honestly have lost track of how many of my favorite characters have died off the show.

With this said, it could have been done without the writers and those creating these story lines. This show has tackled so many different mythologies and lores (yep, I've said it, Sam) that it is just wild for how that they've weaved it all together. I've very much enjoyed learning about different things along with them (even with my trusty Google beside me to double check the #facts).

Overall, this show is so much better than I could have ever described. I don't even know how to even express how upset I'm going to be when it ends after it's fifteenth season. I'm definitely going to have to have a day of mourning, I'm sure. But, here's to one more season and one more hoorah for the Winchester Brothers and the Scooby Gang.
