This show is a recent favorite of mine. About a year and a half ago, I had a broken foot. With that said, I spent a lot of time watching Netflix due to not being able to be very mobile. I decided at that moment to begin binge-watching the Arrowverse TV shows on Netflix. The Flash was the second show I sat down and watched all the episodes one after the other. I was instantly hooked.

The story of Barry Allen as the fastest man alive is iconic but also fantastic with how that Grant Gustin portrays the character. I highly enjoy watching the show because of how well the cast overall plays their respective characters. I have highly enjoyed watching how they have all grown into their respective roles (and powers -- if they have them).

Season Five was a season that blew my mind in so many ways. I was in shock by how well that Tom Cavanagh played another version of Harrison "Sherloque" Wells. (I'm telling you, this show ceases to amaze me.) I enjoyed how that some of the characters grew and reacted to what it might be like without metahuman powers. I also really enjoyed the dynamic of how that they had Nora West-Allen as "the fastest woman alive" and being Barry and Iris's daughter from the future. I felt like that had a big change in how everything played out and how the headline, yet again, changed that Gideon showed them. To me, this was something I was eager to see throughout this season. I also was living for how that Iris would handle the dynamic between her and Nora once she learned about Nora's childhood.

There were so many other plot lines taking place within this season, as well, with Caitlyn Snow and her family, Cisco and him finding the perfect woman, Camille and Joe and the new baby, and so much more.

This season was cram packed with so much content that it was a delight from beginning to end. It makes me very excited for season six and what it has to offer.
